p.p.s.

and to everyone who read my last post and laughed to themselves and said, “Afternoon?  Pfft.  That’s my life every day!  Suck it up, lady and welcome to motherhood!”  Thank you for understanding that this is just another adjustment to our new normal for me.  Everyone who is a parent of two (or more) kids just earned my utmost respect today.  And if you have any pearls of wisdom (or mantras of humor) to help me keep my cool in the face of two kids crying at the same time, I’d appreciate hearing them.

Hey, if you get any good ideas from this, make sure to pass them along! I have a feeling that 2 kids screaming may be MY new normal. Except that of course, our kids will always be happy and will never cry. 🙂

I think the only thing I would recommend is taking a deep breath and reassuring yourself that, unless, one of the children is about to pull a bookcase over on themselves, that no one is going to die. Take care of obvious problems first (poosplosion, for example) and then deal with unknown factors later. 😉

Of course, you realize the next time I have this situation, I will be just as wigged out as I always am!
