{"id":300,"date":"2010-02-17T21:15:57","date_gmt":"2010-02-18T04:15:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/riftraft.jayandcarissa.com\/?p=300"},"modified":"2010-02-17T21:17:52","modified_gmt":"2010-02-18T04:17:52","slug":"first-shower","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/riftraft.jayandcarissa.com\/?p=300","title":{"rendered":"first shower"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"the crown\" src=\"http:\/\/lh3.ggpht.com\/_ETB_wSU3fUw\/S3y6Cs941gI\/AAAAAAAAOiM\/ITrF6_gZ3i4\/s720\/_IGP7103.JPG\" alt=\"\" width=\"513\" height=\"340\" \/><\/p>\n<p>today was my first baby shower.\u00a0 the crown you see above was mine to wear and was (frankly) a little terrifying.\u00a0 for several reasons.\u00a0 for one, the glitter was pretty loose and if i tilted my head wrong, i got a sprinkling of sequins in my punch.\u00a0 for two, well, look at that word up there.\u00a0 those three little letters that represent something i&#8217;ve wanted to be for so long, but i&#8217;m not quite there yet.\u00a0 and it could be three more weeks or three more years and i JUST DON&#8221;T KNOW.\u00a0 But I think I managed to convince myself (at least for the duration of the party) that it will be sooner rather than later.\u00a0 and i got some really wonderful gifts.
